Folktales in Between

"Little darling,
it's been a long cold lonely winter
.
Little darling,
it seems like years since it's been here.

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
and I say it's alright."

(Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles)

Sore Seorang Preman

This is a portrait of man who lives in a street and has gone through struggle. Some called them "preman", people stereotyped it with negative way and largely associated with criminals... I have known Kores for years and this time, in this breezy evening day, i intend to spend some time with him to show how he actually do during his days, stepping aside from what usually people thought about them.

More of these series also can be found in local magazine "Bung!" the second issue 2012, released by Ruang Rupa.

Grasp Me Into Dust

you rape my mind
with the other hand, i sell my soul
with half of my heart, i am down on my knees
you call it love, i call it torture

Summer Comes Too Fast

I feel like I've known you forever
come ride with me, don't be shy
I'll show you the world through this journey

....and please stay.

Anger Brought By Disease

if i die from a disease
when i die i'm taking you with me

the pain of never reaching my dreams
a pain i've suffered all my fucking life
diseased i am not of man kind
i die and i take you at the same time
